What To Do If I Lost Everything and Had To Start All Over Again
Hey, Reinaldo here. This is what I would do if I had to start all over again.
So what I would do is find a mentor. A mentor is not necessarily as in a course or coach but more to someone you adore can look up to and can count on. Mentors could be market leaders or professional 3D artists because to be one they must have a solid reputation and work.
From them, you can learn lots of things such as their perspectives on how to see things, how they create their images, and most of the time you can ask them questions. From there you can reverse engineer what they say and get the bigger picture on how these big studios and pro artists do their work.
If you pay attention enough you’d also be able to pick up their step-by-step proven production workflow. For this part, if you can’t it’s always ok to find a course to learn the step-by-step production workflow framework. After having your own workflow you can start looking for tutorials on youtube or google and try the techniques out yourself. This is called DIY a do it yourself but to learn you really have to do it yourself and try.
So that is what I would do if I lost everything and had to start all over again. For new 3D artists who are confused about where you start this is definitely something worth trying!
