Why I hate V-Ray for SketchUp
Hey, Reinaldo here have you been using SketchUp consistently? Back when it was 2004 until 2008 where I started out working as an interior design. I have been using SketchUp for quite a long time as a Full-timer in the 3D industry. V-Ray is also available for SketchUp, but there’s something wrong with it.
The problem was that V-Ray for SketchUp at the time was built for 32-bit. This doesn’t support my RAM power for more than 4 GB, this limitation shows lots of problems. Because of this, it forces me to use a different version of V-Ray 5 and I got comfortable with it.
Funny enough recently V-Ray launched V-Ray 5. This new software was also launched along with SketchUp 5.0, this made me mad. I got comfortable with another platform and now SketchUp 5.0 is better and they have a new feature.
This feature can create a real-time presentation with just a press of a button. This feature is named V-Ray Vision and this makes me really jealous. I solely hate V-ray for SketchUp because of this.
So if you are planning to use V-Ray for SketchUp or you have been using it for a long time. I definitely recommend you to use this software with its real-time presentation feature which will tremendously help you with a press of a button.
Now go ahead and use V-Ray for SketchUp, and best of luck!!
